I have called PCdmis on all of these. We purchased the CMMs and put diffrent controllers and software on them. Make an offer (or trade for renishaw Probehead PH10m). We will insure that they are good via Hexagon before you take delivery.

Expiration on each of these will be updated.

Portlock #3 looks interesting. If it is still available, how much are you looking to get for it? Does it have an Id that I can take to BnS to investigate it's history?

Actually would like to here from HEX rep on this one. #3 would be an amazing purchase for the Offline License through 2020, seemingly allowing unlimited PC-Dmis downloads until that expiration. Except the modules listed indicate it is not licensed for versions 3.5 or above. You may want to read the modules in a version 3.5 or later to verify 3.25 Enabled is programmed, if not the 2020 date is pretty useless.

#2 could also be used as offline for whatever version the 2000 expiration allows before V3.5, or for any sharpe control system. For #2 if you asked HEX they would most certainly "advise" you need to update SMA to make it legal transfer. I would take into consideration their latest EULA linked at http://www.wilcoxassoc.com/versions/pcdmis_license.php concerning this. Bottom line either would be good for Offline up to version 3.2xx. Otherwise 7 years of SMA is a pricey proposition.

Do you believe that new EULA's can be retroactive and also do you think posting a EULA on a website binds a person that installs a software product that they bought that does not require EULA agreement acceptance to install?
